1. About RennoMate

RennoMate (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an Australian web application that helps homeowners compare renovation quotes using AI-powered analysis. RennoMate is currently in pilot and is provided free of charge.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using RennoMate, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. The Service

RennoMate provides AI-generated analysis of renovation quotes you upload. This includes quote comparison, watch-out flags, cost estimates, and state-specific legal information.

Important: RennoMate is an informational tool only. Our analysis is not financial, legal, or professional building advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making renovation decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not share your account with others.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of all quotes, notes, and other content you upload to RennoMate. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process and store it for the purpose of providing the service to you. We will not share your content with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

Quote retention: When you upload a renovation quote, we keep a copy of the file and its parsed data on our servers so we can improve our AI analysis over time. This copy is retained even after you delete your account and is never shared with third parties or used for marketing. You can request full deletion at any time by emailing support@rennomate.com from the address linked to your account. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service
• Use automated tools to access the service without permission

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, RennoMate is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on information provided by the service, including AI-generated analysis, cost estimates, or legal information.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where they cannot be excluded.

8. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of RennoMate at any time. As a pilot product, features may change without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
